Video: Sherlock Holmes
This 8 minute video outlines the biography of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and how he created his famous detective. After introducing camping vocabulary, we can listen to one of Sherlock Holmes stories: "The Adventure of the Starry Night". Se can read the transcript as it is read, alongside vocabulary notes. There is a comprehension exercise and more activities (e.g. put events in the correct order) in the "transcript" section.
